About the Author:
Beth Terry began her crusade against plastic overconsumption in 2007 when she started her blog, My Plastic-Free Life ( http://myplasticfreelife.com ) which is now the leading blog on plastic-free living, combining useful information about plastic-free alternatives with personal stories and the occasional rant. A founding member of the Plastic Pollution Coalition, Terry has spearheaded a successful citizen action campaign and gives presentations on plastic-free living and why, despite what some critics assert, our personal actions do make a difference. When she's not out fighting plastic pollution, Terry spends her time with her husband and two rascally kitties.
