March 2013 Events at Florey's Books!

Florey's invites you to our special events this month!

Special this month is Lit Wave, Pacifica's literary festival.
March 7-10. Events take place all over Pacifica, so be sure to

Special events this month:

Lit Wave Event!
-Poetry in Motion: A Celebration
An afternoon of poetry in many forms,with guest readers, open mic,
and more. Hosted by Sherri Rose-Walker.
Saturday, March 9th, 1:00-4:30pm

Lit Wave Event!
-Poetry in Translation: Spanish, Japanese, and English
Pacifica poets Camincha, Sonoko Carlson, and David Hirzel read
poems in thier orginal language, and a translation.
Sunday, March 10th, 6pm – 7pm

-"How to Raise a Happy Child (and be happy too)"
Book event with authors Heather Criswell and Taryn Voget
Saturday, March 16th, 2-4pm

Please note our ongoing events:

-"Fiber Fridays", Knitting, Crochet, any sort of string craft,
Fridays 6-8pm All varieties of string and fabric craft are welcome!

-Saturday Storytime! Children's event,
the second Saturday each month, March 9th, 10-11am
Bring the little ones and enjoy a fun story!

-Pacifica Poetry Forum, meets the 3rd Thursday of each month,
March 20th, 7:30 pm. Come and share the joy of poetry!

-Poetry at Florey's, the last Saturday of the month,the 30th, 7:30-9:30pm
Featured poets, followed by an open mic. Share your poems, or just listen.
The featured poets this month are: Clifford Hunt and Jeanne Lupton, with
Jack O'Neill on recorder

-Sharon the Health Presents: natural wellness workshops,
March 20th 6:45-8:30pm.
This months topic: "How to Heal Your Gut" with Lauren Brollier
