Florey's Books invites you to our ongoing poetry event!
***Saturday, January 28th, 7:30-9:30pm***
The featured poets this month are Diane Moomey and Ryan Warren. The featured poets will be followed by an open mic period. Open mic sign-up is first come, first served. This event is open to the public and free of charge. You are welcome to bring a snack or beverage to share.
About the featured poets:
Diane Lee Moomey has lived and wandered around the US and Canada , and now dips her gardener’s hands in California dirt. A regular reader at San Francisco Bay Area poetry venues, Diane has published prose and poetry, most recently in Glass: a Journal of Poetry; The Sand Hill Review, California Poetry Quarterly, Caesura and Red Wheelbarrow, and has been nominated for a Pushcart prize. Ryan Warren is Coastside poet whose work has appeared in numerous journals and publications including California Quarterly, Poetry Daily, Poetry Breakfast, Wilderness House Literary Review, Firefly Magazine and the anthology, Carry The Light. He is a 2016 Pushcart and Best of the Net nominee, and a 2016 San Mateo County Literary Fair award winner.
